what qualifies as a human anyway?
From cargo cults to Westernised everything?
there is such a night and day difference
between the human that wields the
power of controlling technologies and
the human that wields the power of
understanding what is "humane", yet
the one who shoots to kill and conquers,
the human which feels no remorse for
scientific experiments involving severe
torture unto animals for human benefit,
the human which lifts only a finger to
extinguish and entire race of what they
may see as lesser~than humans are the
very "humans" who hold the trophy of
superior intellect. A common fate for
the human is that the majority of their
own hard earned money goes towards
the areas that involve the least interest
in the enrichment of the mind and more
towards the pathways of the gladiator
spectacles, compromising exploitation,
and the leader who looks the most like
a leader even though most often this
chosen ruler couldn't recognise a sword
to know how to pick it up nor what to
do with it. Humans time and time again
not only fail to embrace their very own
thinkers and advancements, but invest
much energy in the persecution, belittling,
and abolishing of the far and in~between
leaps in achievement that ever happen
to fall in their paths. Is this the intelligence
that defines the human? The image from
space that speaks for Earth's great colony?
A "superior" race that perpetuates the
procrastination of an inevitable end of
its own resource through going for broke?
Throwing on more logs to the fire when
the forest shows no promise for catching
up to supply the demand of a near future
coming on quite quick? It seems almost
futile to make comparisons to the endless
parallels found throughout the animal
kingdom of tyrants, herd mentality, gang
brutality. The truth is, the humans do
possess supreme technologies that most
science fiction has trouble out thinking.
The space age warfare that we as a public
know of is not a fraction of the one that
we do not know of and possibly will not
ever be disclosed to humans as a whole.
And this is perhaps the very reason that
we are not only in the running, but in our
current seat of responsibility of our actions,
in the lead for being the lesser species.
A species known to have a vertebrae and
no exoskeleton, which throughout Earth's
history has been known to rise to the
forefront and fall to the shadows in fear.
Ebb and flow over and over and over again.
The very bitter truth is that technology
that protects and feeds us and helps us
get up the road could disappear. This is
a senario that has lately engulfed the humans
to great extent as is the fear these creations
overtaking us upon their becoming sentient.
It is this raging fear that puts we the humans
in the lead for the lesser species of creature.
Nature feeds upon itself. And hunger creates
predators. Predators feast upon the prey in
which they exceed in superior ways. In the
event that the human and the beast are
put in a room together. An empty room.
A room only filled with space and time. In
this room, in given time lies the true debate
of wether or not the human has the supreme
intelligence. Which is humane? Which is beast?
Throughout so many revolutions and their
speeches commanding the power to their
people to "get up!" "fight?!", they fail to see this.
"The people"/the humans and their weakness.
Their intelligence as superior as it can be is
a destiny which every day must be risen to,
as there lie traps in every corner you turn and
embedded in every choice that you may make.
Traps that humans have laid down for fellow
humans wielding this art of intellect, and for
personal gain of some sort. Law of the land?
Take two humans and place them in an
empty room with only space and time, and
here is the true question. Will they devour
each other? Will they find a way out? Will they
combine their intelligence and find a better
life than the one they can only find for themselves
on their own? Will they be able to work together
and nourish the seed of life? If they cannot find
a way to accomplish the simple task of cultivating
a better life than the known one, where is there
any future tense for this race we call the humans?
The ones who are to be the miracle workers!?!
Yet this cannibalistic scenario would be seen
by so many as an inevitable survival of the fittest
where one will stand and one will fall. Many
would go as far as to take pride in the "primal"
nature of the human ability to kill with their bare
hands and place bets upon the likely winner.
The sheer thought of cohabitation considered as
"A L I E N !"
this is not a call to arms
this is not emotive recruitment
this is not peace back in style
this is not fate revealed
you make the call

it's the talon the homosaepien is born with
yet the way we fight, if not with our hands
is with our knives, our guns, and our bombs
a sort of hand me down intelligence
technologies made by a human minds
a hundred, a thousand, sometimes even
from times before humans have a history.
We have the power of choice every second
of every day, and it so often is rarely exercised
and in the heat of the moment is bypassed by
emotional distress and rage overridden into a blur.
"WHAT HAPPENED?"
be it the nuclear annihilation of the entire Earth's
ecosystem over simple misunderstanding, or be it
the sense of insignificance being a single human making
any difference spites the necessary efforts required
to bring forth processes that till the land and plant
the seed. The follow through of watering the garden
and properly harvesting the fruits of the long season.
And most important, enjoying the fruit to tell the tale
and know the importance of its magical healing powers!
The very youth isolated in his room shaking his fist
at the air in hate towards a shadow figure pulling
the strings of his life, stealing the opportunity for
a promising world, with no direction of how to fight back
other than being told to vote for the lesser of two idiots,
is not only the same soul burning in agony failing to see
how many more birds die as he throws the plastic waste
in the wrong bin in jeer, but has also painted himself
into a corner of not wanting to be seen doing anything
other in fear of being viewed as a person less callus than
the next. Showing weakness is to become the prey not
the predator, and the complexified emotions must be
suppressed, and the ultimate fate is furthering his reach
of environmental connection, smothered in perpetual
inebriation stupors of comfort insuring the viscous cycle.

The human being's ultimate greatest weakness?
If humans could militarise the future tense itself
just to create a goal of which race could monopolise
the time continuum most efficiently it would have
most likely already been done, if it hasn't already
thus the general sense of paranoia of what lies ahead.
The day the fear dies is today and not tomorrow! This
is the day that racists, bigots, fat cats, and the entire
pantheon of awkwardly expressed hatred ceases to
rule the flow of the consciousness river, for there will
be no need for a feeling of dominance over one another.
The simple mind will lapse into attack mode in primal
instinct as a prey in confrontation of a predator's path.
But the day of the simple mind is no longer with us.
This is the dawning of a day of awareness and commune.
Revolutions WILL cease to continuously rise and fall, if
they are not co~opted. Mothers WILL raise their children
with nourishing mentors, and children WILL grow towards
the lights as healthy plants instead of spiralling towards
the traps lurking all throughout the allure of darkness.
People as a whole WILL begin to build their cities in the
ways they feel suit instead of being steam rolled by the
contracts that honour the institutions that harvest an
interest of monetary pursuits. Freedom to celebrate
their myths as they see fit WILL bring forth well being
and knowledge for health as there will be no slight of
hand persuasion over the contortions of legends and
easy cures to premeditated illnesses engineered from
shadow figures. And the animal kingdom WILL exist in
curious cooperative understanding for each other's long
developed cultures with the human's without mindless
encroachment upon and utter destruction of their very
habitats that we humans not only need in order to save
the fruit from withering, but its entire species itself as well.
